Steven E. Pickett
President and CEO
Steven Pickett joined Telmar Network Technology in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to President and CEO in 2008. Under his leadership, Telmar has expanded its product and service portfolio to bring comprehensive network solutions and professional services to communications customers around the globe. As of December 2011, Telmar was acquired by Jabil Circuits (NYSE) and runs as a wholly owned subsidiary of this Fortune 200 company.
Before joining Telmar, Mr. Pickett was Senior Vice President/General Manager of the Optical Network Division at Alcatel-Lucent. He also served as Vice President of Sales responsible for managing relationships with Alcatel North America customers, including SBC. During this period, SBC and Alcatel successfully implemented the “Project Pronto” Broadband Services initiative.
In 2013, Mr. Pickett will serve as the Vice-Chair of the QuEST Forum Executive Board, the ICT Industry Group dedicated to improving communications network quality globally, of which he has been a member since 2011. He will serve as Chair of the Executive Board in 2014. He is also a Board Member of QFactor, an early stage technology company based in the Boston area.
Mr. Pickett holds a BSEE from Tufts University and an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
