Telmar Network Technology Relocates Headquarters to Plano, Texas

PLANO, Texas – July 14, 2009 – Telmar Network Technology today announced that it has completed the relocation of its corporate headquarters to Plano, Texas, from Irvine, Calif.
The relocation brings 150 of Telmar’s North Texas employees together in a 144,000-square-foot facility that is undergoing renovations, which are expected to be complete in July. “We have extended our lease into 2018 and are appreciative of the incentives offered by the City of Plano,” said Telmar Chief Operating Officer Doug Theobald. “We are putting the investment to good use by modernizing our facility to increase our efficiency and environmental effectiveness.”
Telmar’s relocation strategy was driven by the opportunity to be based near the dozens of communications companies that drive the telecommunications and networking industries and make North Texas a globally recognized hub for manufacturers and service providers alike. “One of the lures of the Metroplex is the fact that many of our network service provider and OEM customers are based in the Dallas area,” said Steve Pickett, president and CEO of Telmar Network Technology. “North Texas also offers a rich talent pool to draw from as the company continues to grow in North America and abroad.”
